Gallery

Description

Following the resounding success of the experience held in February 2026 in the Peruvian Andes, this new edition extends that same sensibility to one of the most extreme and awe-inspiring landscapes on the planet. Conceived and organized by Puttutu Expediciones and led on the photographic side by Chilean photographer Luis Hernán Herreros, the residency shifts its focus to Patagonia, exploring the relationship between territory, light, landscape and perception. For documentary photography, Patagonia offers an even more radical condition: it is not just a remote territory, but a space where scale overwhelms the eye and forces it to reposition itself. The experience happens not only in what is seen, but in how the body positions itself in the face of that immensity. The residency includes lodging at **EcoCamp Patagonia**, the world's first geodesic dome hotel, located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. Operated by Cascada Expediciones since 1991, specialists in environmentally friendly travel.
